Jeffery Kendall Appointed to Lead Kony’s Digital Banking Business to Drive Global Growth Strategy and Market Leadership
AUSTIN, Texas – September 17, 2018 – Kony, Inc., a leading provider of digital banking solutions, today announced the company has appointed dedicated leadership and resources to support the rapid growth in its Kony DBX business, including naming Jeffery Kendall to the newly created position of senior vice president and general manager of Kony DBX, the financial services arm of Kony, Inc. In this role, Kendall will focus on helping Kony DBX achieve its high-growth agenda by further expanding its global presence and market leadership.
Kendall brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation. He has in-depth expertise working with customers on all facets of digital solutions, including customer experience, self-service, workflow automation and operational efficiency. During his seven-year tenure at Kony, Kendall has held a variety of go-to-market, partner, and operational senior leadership roles. Prior to joining Kony, Kendall was responsible for directing strategic alliances, channel partners and global product marketing for NCR’s self-service industry solutions. Kendall has also previously held multiple IT and product leadership roles leading global development teams in the ideation and launch of consumer-facing applications.
The company also appointed Miljan Stamenkovic as regional vice president of Europe for Banking & Financial Services. Stamenkovic has a rich history in helping financial services providers implement digital solutions for their businesses and customers. With more than 11 years of experience in the financial services technology space, he brings an in-depth perspective on digital banking, customer experience and omnichannel delivery. Prior to joining Kony, Stamenkovic was responsible for leading sales initiatives for Backbase across Asia Pacific and Africa. Prior to Backbase, he held multiple IT consulting, sales and product leadership roles leading multicultural and globally distributed teams in creating SAP intermediary and consumer-facing applications.
