Q: Why does the market today need Kony DBX?
A: I believe in liquid and competitive markets. US consumers are lucky enough to have over several thousand financial institutions to choose from to support their everyday banking needs, but some of the small and medium sized banks and credit unions are under threat. Kony DBX supports institutions who can't afford to invest and innovate as quickly as the biggest players. Kony designs and develops alongside banks and credit unions, to ensure that every dollar spent on product development meets a real customer need in the market, which helps us to be efficient with the resources that we have.

Q: Describe your career in a few short sentences.
A: I have spent my career working inside and alongside banks to create awesome financial experiences for customers. Most of my working life was in London, heading up the Retail Product Team at Metro Bank (the first new high-street bank in the UK for over 100 years) and Lloyds Banking Group.
While transitioning from London to San Francisco, I co-wrote a book that talked about some of the structural problems within UK banks, called 'Naked Banking: The Truth about Banks and You'.
Most recently, I led the product, design and research function for 'Engage', which seeks to transform relationships between banks and customers using technology. We were pleased to be acquired by Kony in late 2018!
Q: What makes Kony DBX different from Brand X?
A: Kony gives banks and credit unions real ownership over their own product roadmaps. The people at Kony truly partner with banks to help them to make the best decisions for their unique customer base.
